What is NELCO’s Special Projects Division?

From planning and design to construction management, engineering and even fixtures, our Special Projects team can handle every aspect of projects like building additions, renovations and full build-outs. Our specialists understand the complex requirements of public, private, healthcare, industrial, and commercial projects and the added scrutiny that comes with many of them. Because we’re Massachusetts based, our knowledge of the state and the region—we’re one of the Northeast’s leaders with over 2,000 completed projects—means we have a better understanding of local bidding processes, regulatory concerns and environmental issues unique to our area. NELCO’s 85 years of experience in 41 countries means that our Special Projects teams also have a foundation to expand our work beyond Massachusetts—across the country and around the globe.

Safety

Every construction project includes many important considerations, needs, and objectives, but none is as important as safety. We take every precaution to ensure and maintain the safety and well-being of our workers, and that enables us to construct safer and longer-lasting buildings. From healthcare to heavy industrial, we work in fields where safety is a big concern – and in order to ensure the safety of the occupants and end users of our buildings, we have the highest safety standards for our own workers. That’s what earned us the only ISO certification in our industry. That’s an honor and a duty we take very seriously. Our safety standards exceed local codes and regulations; from own own manufacturing, R&D, installation, as well as employee training and policies and procedures, everything we do begins and ends with safety. Where peace of mind is paramount, care and safety is the highest priority.
