General Contracting

Our construction-management process consists of constant communication from all parties, including weekly project meetings with the construction team, engineers, architects, subcontractors, and the client. This helps us achieve our goal of 100% quality assurance: safety updates, subcontractor management, weekly inspections, and relevant trainings as needed. Pre-Construction Services

The pre-construction stage of any project is crucial, and key elements such as structural systems, building materials, sustainability, business impact, and timing and phasing can all affect the long-term success of the project. We provide a Construction Manager at the initial phase of planning to ensure all intelligent construction practices and considerations are in place. Site Selection

Site selection and permitting are two aspects of the construction-planning process that can have long-lasting and unforeseen effects. New-Site Assessment

Our expert planners and estimators can assist and speed the process of every step in the pre-construction phase, including new site assessment. This includes environmental site assessments that are performed to the highest standard, and conform to Federal EPA and all 50 state regulations. We can perform soil, ground water, and vapor encroachment assessments, as well as oil and hazardous material testing. We will customize the report to meet our clients’ or agency lenders’ specific requirements.

Interior Design

The NELCO Special Projects team’s expertise includes interior design, with a focus on usability, work flow, aesthetics, and functional use—especially for environments with a high degree of technical and heavy equipment. Furnishings, Fixtures, and Equipment

Many of the buildings our Special Projects team handles have at their core one of two main purposes: the function of important equipment and the comfort of their people. From hospitals and healthcare clinics, to heavy-industrial, retail and hospitality projects, our Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E) services play a key role. We can help select and supply the right lighting, flooring, custom furniture, and any other custom need our clients may have, whether it’s finishings, systems furniture, even movable walls. NELCO’s team of designers, planners, and engineers give each client personal attention to ensure the feel and function of each space meet their goals.
